Apex Counseling Services, Ltd. offers services tailored to our clients, as we understand that therapy is not "one size fits all". Our goals are client-centred and client-focused. We believe in continuing to challenge ourselves as therapists and growing our knowledge to better serve our clients.
Trauma-Informed Staff Training
We offer a 6-8 hour Trauma-Informed Staff Training program for agencies looking to increase their staff knowledge and understanding of the biological, physiological, physical and emotional impacts of trauma, concepts around attachment, healthy and effective communication, de-escalation techniques, as well as providing subsequent resources for staff or clients requiring future trauma-focused therapy and interventions.
